Robbing should not be motivated by financial gain; avoid robbing people simply because you're low on funds.
To initiate a robbery, two essential conditions must be met:
- High-quality roleplay is required.
- A compelling reason for the robbery must be established.
During a robbery, you must continue to engage in dialogue after initiating the hold-up. Remaining silent during a robbery will result in a ban. Ideally, while the victim is being held up, someone in your group should explain why they're being robbed. For example, "You had it coming; shouldn't have kept coming back after we told you this isn't your spot"effort
When robbing someone, you can only take what's in their inventory. You cannot demand bank transfers, force them to sell their cars, or remove items from their home. Excessive robbing and inventory wiping are not allowed, meaning don’t wipe it or take random items that don’t make sense.
Chain robbing at an illegal location without a strong roleplay background is strictly prohibited. Consistently robbing every player you encounter is not allowed.
This rule is heavily enforced. Please know your limits before attempting to rob an officer. Failure to abide by this will result in harsh punishments of 2 weeks to a month ban. Robbing law enforcement should not be for financial gain or due to them performing their duty. It has to be when an officer has gone above and beyond their line of duty in some way with criminals, trash talking or being called mean names doesn’t warrant a cop being robbed. It must involve proper premeditated roleplay, and be approved by an admin+.
You cannot rob or kidnap the same player more than once in a 2-hour period. If you rob someone, you can't later kill them if they comply; it's one or the other. You either kill them or rob them and let them go.
If you're being robbed, refrain from taunting or trash-talking the robbers, thinking you're immune to being killed. Play the victim role.
