Lcktober

• What it is

  Wearing a chastity device for some or all of October, alone or with a partner who holds the key. There is no official Locktober rulebook. The only terms that carry any real weight are the ones you agree to yourself.

• Prepare in September

  Most people who stop early do so because of fit, not willpower. Measure flaccid, start with sessions of one to three hours, and do at least three overnight trials before October.

• Set your rules

  Write down the rules, whether solo or with a keyholder, including unlocks for hygiene, medical needs, travel, and work. Agree on check-in language, so that “I’m done” is respected immediately.

• Hygiene

  Rinse daily with warm water and a mild, material-safe soap, then dry carefully. A full unlock wash every few days is sensible risk management rather than cheating.

• Emergency unlock

  The spare key is not optional. Keep one with a trusted person or in a lockbox you can reach quickly. Whatever the dynamic, there has to be a way out.

• When to stop

  Unlock immediately for numbness or tingling that does not settle, cold, blue or unusually pale skin, severe swelling, sharp pain, broken skin, or trouble urinating. Ending early for safety is success, not failure.
